Champion designed SANCare to help you get optimal performance from your Storage Area Network (SAN). The SANCare process is comprised of three steps: inventory, analysis and report with recommendations.
First, Champion conducts a complete inventory of your existing SAN, including storage sub-system(s) and configurations; system microcode and firmware levels; switch fabric elements, zones and connectivity; switch microcode and firmware levels; and storage management software.
Second, we analyze the performance of your SAN over time. We measure storage utilization, SAN statistics and disk performance, file system structure and utilization, and storage backup and recovery.
Third, we provide you with a written report and recommendations to improve SAN performance. We identify configuration changes, plus software and firmware fixes and upgrades, to enhance performance and address potential bottlenecks. We also provide a logical diagram (in both print and electronic format) of your SAN and directly attached component, and we suggest change management techniques tailored to your environment.
